...The End?!

I learned alot from this little workshop. I had alot of fun looking at the different applications and exploring the world of blogging. I believe I will be using alot of these things in the future! Thanks!

Librivox, Podiobooks, and Netlibrary

Netlibrary has more books available than librivox and podiobooks. I already have a huge list of books that I want to check out from Netlibrary! I can't wait!!!

Podcasts

I am not that much into Podcasts. I do like to listen than read, depending on what it is. But it is useful for those that have iTunes and an Ipod. Especially those that are always on the go and can't sit down read a newspaper or catch the news.

YouTube

Unfortunately, there are restrictions placed on our main computers here at the library. I really wished I could put a YouTube video on here, though.

Web 2.0 Awards. And the winner is...

Yahoo! Answers and Google docs! Yahoo!Answers worked really, really well for me when it came to asking for things in a question format to find what I was looking for. Googledocs is awesome. I don't think that I need to elaborate anymore on its awesomeness.

*to the tune of Yahoo!* Zoho!!

Zoho is really cool. I think it is really convenient to use if you like to write and have others read your works! Then again, I'm too chicken to put my stuff out there... :D It also has spots on there for databases and everything else!

PB Wiki

I added my wiki to the favorite blogs on the pb wiki site. It was easy to use and very interesting. I learned a bit more using this. :)

Wiki, wiki!

We use our wiki alot! It has alot of possibilities.

TexShare...

...has been abused by me for a long time. I used it alot for many a research paper.

Technorati chop...

...hi-yah! (I always wanted to do that...) Well, the search results were pretty much the same all the way around. As far as popular blogs, tags, and searches... I was kinda intrigued by the 'Lifehacker, tips and downloads for getting things done' blog and the 'Blog Tips to Help You Make Money Blogging- ProBlogger' blog.

Del.icio.us

This has a lot of potential for being a very valuable research tool. For one thing, you wouldn't have to go searching to far for your research projects and such. Wished this was around when I was in high school. (or maybe it was and I didn't use the computer much then...)

Online Gamer to the rescue!!

Unfortunately, there are restrictions placed on our main computers here at the library. I am a gamer, though. Many of these types of games I play, except for WoW, Ragnarok online, and Runescape.

Muzak

Myspace is the stomping ground for alot of bands. I found out that many of my favorite J-Rock (Japanese Rock) bands have pages.

Google IM

Google Talk was easier to use than Yahoo!IM. With Yahoo!, you had some bad lag time that you had to deal with. With Google Talk, there wasn't that much of a lag time. Our conversation went through very well. It never disconnected not once.

Feeds, feeds....Where for art thou feeds?

Trying to find feeds using those types of methods was kinda difficult. Every once and awhile, I kinda miss where the RSS thingy would be and... well, it doesn't get found. This was kinda tricky. But all in all, I did find somethings.

RSS...

...now being fed. I subscribed to these three (give or take a couple more...) RSS feeds:

Maria V Snyder's RSS feed
...because I am a huge fan of her 'Study' series.

Unshelved
...come on... Who doesn't like a little library humor?

Powell's Books- Graphic Novel
...because I like graphic novels.

Flickr, flickr, flickr...

I played around with the Flickr Color Pickr. It was alot of fun just playing with the different colors and then seeing what the actual picture was when you clicked on them. I really liked the selection that was on there for purple, red, and blue.

navigatin' the google... or trying at least.

Taking a look around iGoogle was pretty nifty. I never knew that this sort of thing existed. I like how you can manage some of your tasks on it for if you're not that great at remembering to do some things. :D

This is a test...

Looks like we got this started... I think. Anywho, I believe I am best at # 7 1/2: Play.
